Landscape Design

I want to create gardens that become an extension of our client’s identity and personality and one that they will ultimately form a long lasting emotional bond and connection with

It all starts with the initial site visit with clients, where we discuss at length a range of topics related to the proposed design. This is where we develop a written brief and provide the client with an explanation of the process works and fees involved.

We return to the site to take extensive photos and perform a site analysis as well as measure up the site.

This takes into account existing level changes, buildings, trees, services and utilities which all need to be recorded. In some cases, we will be able to provide this service. However, in some cases it will need to be recorded by a professional surveyor. Our fees do not include the cost of the surveyor however we can recommend or arrange one for you.

Design concept

We then prepare a concept plan which is our visual realisation of your brief and the basis of the creative platform in which your design will take shape.

We provide printed plans which communicate plan drawings, elevations and where necessary, perspective drawings to further illustrate complex or intricate areas within the proposed design. We include a synopsis to describe our proposed design along with a visual mood board to emphasise key intentions at concept stage.

Detailed planning

We then procure the necessary detailed Landscape masterplan. These documents will capture any changes or revisions that have been made following the presentation and discussion from the concept stage.

The Landscape masterplan will outline everything that the Landscape contractor will need to formulate a quotation/estimate for the proposed construction.detailed planning, planting, tendering

There may be a need for engineering or architectural drawings/approval needed. We can arrange this on your behalf however this will be discussed during the conceptual stage of the design and is not included in our fees.

Detailed planting schedules and specifications are then produced. These documents will detail all of the crucial information associated with carrying out the soft landscaping of the design including types and quantities. We understand that every client experience is unique and should you wish to participate in this process we will welcome your feedback.

Each design package will be submitted to a Qualified Landscape contractor which we have worked with before. They will receive copies of plans, specifications and related supporting documentation to formulate a quotation in which we will be present for approval.
